Throughout their life, they must gnaw and chew extensively to maintain them. Roof rats are also major culprits in regards to chewing and gnawing. For most of us, our most expensive home purchases lie in the attic. This includes HVAC, plumbing, AC, electricity and so on. When rodents have free reign in our attic spaces, they have the potential to cause serious costly damage, and even house fires.
